Term	Definition
Night session	Any time the NYSE regular session is closed: 4:00 PM,9:30 AM ET, weekends, and NYSE holidays. 81% of the week.
The gap	The percentage difference between a stock's official opening print and its previous official close.
The print	An official exchange price, the 4:00 PM close or the 9:30 AM open, delivered on-chain by Chainlink. The judge of every gap market.
Night price	The live price of a Stock Token on Robinhood Chain while Wall Street is closed. The market's real-time estimate of the next open.
Gap up / gap down	Long side / short side of a gap market. Gap up wins if the stock reopens above the close; gap down wins if below.
The bell	9:30 AM or 4:00 PM ET. One opens the gap, the other locks it in.
Stock Token	A tokenized equity issued on Robinhood Chain, tradable 24/7 in 120+ countries and usable across DeFi.
Night Vault	An ERC-4626 vault running a strategy that trades exclusively during the night session.
